Provider Spotlight: Elaina Hogan, PNP IBCLC

Elaina Hogan is the newest addition to the Primary Care Pediatrics family. Elaina is a pediatric nurse practitioner who joined our practice in June of 2018. Originally from Chattanooga, TN, Elaina completed undergraduate studies at the University of Memphis earning bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Philosophy. She completed her nurse externship at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital where she later worked as a NICU nurse for four and a half years with a CCRN certification (critical care registered nurse in neonatology certification). She earned a Master of Science in primary care pediatrics from the University of South Alabama in 2017 and is board certified as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner. Elaina is an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Counselor). She's worked for 4 years in the Lactation Department at Regional One Health as a lactation nurse. Elaina currently serves as the president of the Memphis Area Lactation Consultant Association "MALCA" and is an active member of the Memphis chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

Elaina Hogan lives in Memphis, TN with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, knitting, and indoor gardening.
